FELIPE ESCUDERO

Felipe Escudero is an architect and artist whose practice unfolds between sculpture, furniture, and spatial intervention. Working through his experimental platform, Obio, he develops bespoke objects and site-specific works that exist at the threshold of art and architecture.

Deeply informed by pre-Columbian cosmovisions, particularly the Valdivia culture, his practice draws from a worldview in which nature, symbolism, and ritual objects are intrinsically connected. Through highly polished surfaces and fluid geometries, he translates natural phenomena into distilled, contemporary forms, exploring the fragile boundary between the natural and the artificial.

Escudero’s work reflects an optimistic, human-centered approach to making — one that remains attentive to material, environment, and the quiet intelligence of form.
